Origin story
Venn used to guard a single warehouse at the edge of Old Quarter, back when the district still took regular hits from outside crews looking for an easy score. He wasn't the fastest guard on that stretch, or the strongest. He was simply the one who never left his post, no matter what it cost him to hold it.
That reputation did more recruiting than any pitch could have. Shopkeepers hired him first, then information brokers, then The Ledger itself — not because Venn was flashy, but because whatever he agreed to guard stayed guarded. Blank House grew out of that one trait, scaled up: a crew that sells reliability as its entire product.
He rarely expands for its own sake. Venn consolidates what's already his until nothing can touch it, which sounds passive until you realize how few crews in this city can say the same. His street name, Blank, describes exactly what he offers anyone willing to start clean under his protection — a slate nobody else gets to write on.

Venn says little and promises less, but what he does promise, he holds — a trait that makes him more dangerous to cross than crews twice his size.
