Breakwater — Don Tor Vale
Every deal has a clock. Vale just makes sure his crew reads it fastest.
Origin story
Tor Vale learned his trade under car hoods, not in boardrooms, and the thing that set him apart from every other grease-stained kid on the pier was pure speed — he could strip a job down to what actually mattered and move on it before a slower crew finished discussing the risk. That instinct became Breakwater's entire identity.
He built the crew by taking jobs nobody else wanted: cargo too hot, clients too unreliable, deals that looked one bad night from falling apart. His street name — Rivet — fits him better than most nicknames fit anyone: small, cheap, everywhere, and somehow holding the whole structure together under pressure. Breakwater today moves more than stolen cars — parts, documents, full paper identities for vehicles that never technically existed.
Vale takes risks other Dons leave on the table, but he's just as quick to walk away the moment a deal starts feeling wrong. By the time a rival crew realizes a shipment went bad, Vale is usually three streets gone.
Character
Vale negotiates like he's doing you a favor, right up until the moment it becomes clear he was never going to take a bad deal in the first place.
Notable moments
- Built Breakwater's network from a single workshop in eighteen months
- Took on a shipment three other crews called too risky — and tripled the profit
